Answer to the last quiz was – John Surtees – the only man to win World Championships on both two and four wheels. – I don’t remember ever seeing John race, but he may have been in some of the TT events, that I watched. – Did you know that he started his racing career as a passenger on his Dad’s sidecar road racer? – And did you know he once hit a bull on the TT course in very poor weather conditions – wrecked the MV Augusta, but both John and the Bull survived. – A few of our regular bloggers got it!! – Bob Clark was first in.

Peter from OZ sent us this pic of a worried looking Mick Andrews, but no idea where it was taken and who the others are. However! Hagon was known for Speedway bikes.- not sure why Mick would be at one of those events, although he did do a lot of Classic MX events, and in fact was originally hired by Ossa as a “Scrambles” rider

We have received the latest Newsletter from Roger Boothroyd of the Victoria Motorcycle Club, and as usual, this is full of information on both what is happening with the VMC, but also some very interesting articles – We urge our bloggers to click onto the VMC website to catch up on this last one for 2025. – Good reading. Another well known Trials rider has passed away – Dick Langstone
Dave Curtis the very well known British rider died in November but his Celebration of life was held yesterday. – he was a very well liked man, whose favorite bike was a 500cc Matchless – like many Brits – he rode a lot of ISDT events winning a number of Gold medals.
