So we have heard from a few people after we posted the 2026 Beta UK prices – some busy with their calculator!!!!! – Yes all the bikes are going to be expensive next year, and I suspect a bit tight on supply – and while for some who can afford it, there is no substitute for picking up the latest model. – Others might be equally happy with either a non-current or even a used bike.
The pros and cons of buying are really up to the individual, and (a) What they can afford and (b) at what level are they planning to ride?
We have often stressed the fact, that buying from a “TRIALS” dealer – can make a huge difference in how you enjoy your new bike – because these people are usually involved in the sport, they can offer the best support plus the best back up for when you need help both with bike set-up and spare parts.
Obviously in this day and age – there are a lot of keyboard warriors out there, posting stuff that is total bull, so our advice is always do your research before putting down your hard earned cash. – Don’t forget that a low ball used bike posted with a nice pic – might be totally different when you get to see it. – and often the money difference between that and a new bike, is quickly made up by parts that are required to make it good.
