The name is Smith – but the S stands for superman – Jeff Smith – the guy I followed at the start of the 1976 200 mile Moose Mountain Cross Country and in so doing passed about 50-60 other riders. (173 on the line for the shotgun start) – Yes he was a World Champion. ( And still alive) He also helped design the first Can Am bikes in Canada – that is why he is wearing those pants !! But of course was always on a BSA back in his Championship MX days. – Did you know he also won the Scottish Six Day Trial?
