Quiz today – who is this and where?

======================================

We were watching more video of that Hawaai hard enduro and I wonder how may riders will go again? The Moose Mountain Cross Country races in Alberta – which we mentioned, were later made easier to encourage riders to come back – after all – most do this for fun – and we noticed the same thing with some Trials events back a few years. – Hosting any event that becomes too difficult, is never a good thing.

Although there will always be times when weather conditions destroy the best planned courses and events. – The smart organizers will do their level best to change stuff if possible – these people know, that if a large percentage of the entry, are not enjoying themselves – they will NOT BE BACK –

Note ! Everybody makes mistakes, that is why when we put on Trials, we often changed some sections 2-3 times in order to get them right. – We also need to remember that junior lines ( unlike when we started -when everybody rode the same line) -need to be really easy – take a few dabs here and there, – there is only one line at Scottish Six Day sections.

Many of our older bloggers might recall that very first FIM World Trial we put on at Bragg Creek Alberta in 1975 and how I had to ride out front of all the riders on the very long 69 mile loop, and change some sections because of the terrible weather we had just prior and having heard via two way radio that Mart Lampkin said “What does Dave think we are “Supermen” – ( Mart, Mick and myself had a good laugh about that later)

Also it never hurts to get a second opinion on some difficult stuff – Anyway those are a few points that some might find useful. – We take our hats off to all who host any events – Keep up the good work.
