Yesterday would have been Queen Elizabeth’s 100th birthday – she was pretty special and also rode a motorcycle during the war years.

Below a nicely rebuilt 1953 James Commando Trials bike – but before you laugh – click onto the video of a guy riding and cleaning a very tough Scottish style creek section posted on You Tube. – This was the era when I got into bikes and some thought the rigid rear end was better for getting traction on a Trials bike – but how about riding bikes just like this for about 100 miles per day in the Scottish Highlands??

And the most famous of all trials sections !! Worldwide. – Yes I hiked up there in 1972 – and did my write up for Cycle Canada – but it was the US Magazine Dirt Rider that published this.

Below is the 2026 Program – We have a bunch of these as our buddy Harry McKay usually sends us them. – Nice to see Dougie entered again.
