Answer to that last quiz – easy if you were into Photography back in the day, when you really had to know what you were doing to get a good action pic. – The technique shown was called “Panning” – when the Photographer followed the subject through the movement while clicking the shutter at the correct time. -This creates the impression of speed as the subject is in focus, but the background blurred. of course Harlow would have got that!! (rip) – I was surprised that Brett got it!!! – The rider in that pic was Rolf Tibblin MX Champ – Greg Raybeck from Vancouver Island also replied with a nice bit about his experiences using the “Old fashioned” film cameras. – he also sent us this great shot. – However this was taken on a phone by his son!!!

Not sure how many of our bloggers watch “Itchy Boots” – but I find these really interesting , pretty amazing the places that Noraly gets to and very well documented. – neat Yamaha Teneri she rides. which was based on the TT 600. – The latest video shows her visiting (climbing up to) the Great Wall of China.

Obviously, with most of the riding areas shut down due to the fire hazard – we don’t have a lot to report, and can only hope for lots of rain.
As far as we know, the Ymir Trial is still going ahead, as it’s on Private land, but stay tuned for updates- same applies for Ross Rathbones Trials Center- if in doubt phone ahead, but the main thing is to stay out of the bush, until all these fires are brought under control.
