Mornin ‘ bloggers – another Friday and yes another hot day expected, with no real rain in the forecast – As you all know, most areas are shut down for riding in BC including Ioco and the VMC property, the fire danger is still so extreme.
Obviously, our thoughts and prayers go out to anybody who has lost their home at this time and/or are evacuated, the trauma almost unbearable.
The one thing we can do, if we are still able, is to click onto You Tube to catch up on what is happening elsewhere, and yes there are also some new tapes that we have found really interesting, today we saw the story of Greeves, a fascinating account of the rise and fall of this great British world beater. ( I only ever tried one of their original Trials models once – did not like the way the front end worked – although we did test and ride the much later 175 bike)

We had mail from Stan, who says the big fires in that area, are still quite a long way towards Boston Bar, and they are OK – He also mentioned a mistake I made with one of my captions, where I said one pic was Trevor Benson, when it is in fact another Kiwi, Trent Burgess. – Trevor Benson did ride quite a few of our Trials, back in the day, then bought himself a speedway bike, however he had a bad crash on this and broke his back, and later died..
