Mornin’ Bloggers – We are happy to report that we have had quite a lot of rain in the Valley – hopefully this will put out the fires still burning, but it might take a lot more.

A cool wet morning today, but quite welcome after the stress of all the fires from the last few weeks. – I wonder how many of our bloggers like riding in the rain?
Of course for Trials organizers, this is something that always needs to be considered when setting up sections for an event – it seems we were always being caught out with the weather back when we were doing this – especially in Alberta.

I saw this pic just posted on FB of Glencoe in Scotland and it brought back a memory from when my brother and myself were at the Scottish in 1972 – Not sure if this is the exact spot, but we stopped at the pub out in the Country for lunch and were sat outside on what was a rare nice sunny day – all was very quiet – then we saw a Scottish piper come out of the white cottage in full dress and start playing the bag pipes!! a truly wonderful memory.
