For those who don’t know – the pic above shows me wearing the first Trials Guru cap presented to anyone in Canada, only others at this point in time are Dave Butler and Michael Traves. – It also shows me wearing a T shirt from that first ever FIM World Trial we put on in Canada. The plaque on the wall is from Wales!! ( nothing to do with bikes) – I never did get a T shirt from the Trial until last year when I got one given to me,

Answer to the last quiz – A young Sammy Miller at the 1954 Scottish Six Day Trial – Sammy was riding his own homemade bike and rode it from Belfast to Scotland – then finished the 6 day event and rode the bike back to Ireland – Just think about that!!!! – Pete Varey got that one first, then Roger Boothroyd.

Quiz today – This guy used to be a very good Trials rider, but who is it??

Walter Cukavac sent us these pics of himself and his buddy Mark, out practicing near Spruce Grove Alberta, both are on Outlaw Beta Evo 200’s. They hope to get the sport going ahead in the Edmonton area.

The new Motorcycle Mojo Mag is now hitting the news-stands – You might see a familiar face in the top right corner of the cover!!

This might be the most famous photograph taken at The Scottish Six Day Trial – It was taken by Peter Howdle, and show Gordon Jackson taking that solitary “Dab” at the 1961 Trial – Of special interest for Canadian bloggers, is the young Checker on the left who marked that card, David Johnson, later moved to Canada, and at one time had a small Montesa Dealership in Calgary.. He still lives there.
