Mornin’ bloggers – Another smoky Friday!!
Obviously the thing on everybody’s mind at the moment is the Forest Fire danger and with super hot temperatures and no rain the threat for many is very real – We keep in touch with Stan who lives in Yale – not a great distance from the big fires in the Fraser Canyon, but at least for the time being the smoke is blowing the other way.
As mentioned we have lots of smoke in Vernon, and in fact I noticed some ash on Babs car today in the carport!!!!

Answer to the last quiz – Graham Jarvis watched by Martin Lampkin – Brett-Bob- Pete Varey- Roger and Stan got that, plus Peter from OZ – – Graham did of course win the Scottish in 1999 on the “New” Bultaco which was renamed the Sherco – because the owner did not want to pay royalties to the Bulto Family- ( clever combination of SH Sherpa- and CO -BultaCO.
We saw Graham riding at his first ever Scottish in 1992 – on a Fantic – I was with Dave Anderson of Anson clothing fame, who made a lot of stuff for us – he said watch this lad – he’s going to be good!!!

This weekend the Calgary Motorcycle Club are celebrating their 100 year anniversary – although we got a call some time ago from somebody wanting info on the time I was involved, with the club, I’m not sure if they have anything else planned other than this deal on Sunday.
