Mornin” bloggers – Another smoky day in the Valley, and not much news to report – the fires are still burning over Westside, now more in the Southern area , but more folks being evacuated. – We also saw a fire at Belcarra near Ioco so obviously no riding out there. -Unfortunately the forecast is for continued hot weather and with everywhere tinder dry, we are very concerned.
Only Peter LeGrove, from OZ ,- got the last quiz he actually rode a few Trials with those lads back in the day.- It was Gordon Adsett watched by Jock Wilson. – Gordon and his brother were both very good Trials and Scramble riders, sadly Derick – a terrible tragedy was killed by a car while competing in a trial – he was stationary waiting to enter a section.
Below at least some Trials are still going ahead in Canada – I doubt we will be able to ride now until September at the earliest.

I see they have a Supercross happening tomorrow in Calgary with some top riders up for that at McMann stadium.

Birthday greetings today to Todd Nordin who turns 57 and a memory of Tony Down, who would have been 80 today, Tony died of cancer a few years ago, and some of our bloggers might remember when he came to one of our Summerland Trials – Tony was an ex RAF pilot who lived in the States and promoted Trials for quite a few years, he also rode the Scottish a few times.
