Yes we had the first snowfall on our front yard yesterday.

It all melted pretty quick and we can only hope that the Ski hills up top get more.

Answer to the quiz from yesterday – Not easy from the pic – The rider is Neil Carter – long time trials promotor in Ontario. on a Fantic — Of course Harlow got it !!!!!!! but nobody else –

A flash back to the 1992 Scottish Six Day Trial I took this pic on a very wet day – But who is the rider AND on what famous section.?

Below is a copy of an early Bultaco poster – it’s nice to see that some of these bikes are still being used in Classic trials. ( We had quite a few but none in the stable these days – the best model was the 1973 Sherpa T 325 – only sold when I went to work for Yamaha Motor Canada later that year)

The one above is a 250 that I bought for the Vintage class – but did not keep it long – I much preferred the nice TY 175 that I picked up – I brought in the special one piece tank seat unit from Sammy Miller. – Mark ONeill now owns that bike.

And the bottom line is – it’s now light enough to see – we had more snow last night!!!

That’s me done – now it’s the turn of my plow guy!!!
